1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the AI Image Detector API website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
AI Image Detector API provides artificial intelligence-powered image detection services via a RESTful API. Our service analyzes images to determine whether they were generated or modified by AI systems, identifies the likely source model, and provides forensic analysis including pixel-level heatmaps.
3. Account Registration
To access our API, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
4. API Usage & Rate Limits
Your API usage is subject to the rate limits and quotas of your subscription plan. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary throttling or suspension. Free tier accounts are limited to 500 scans per month. Unused quotas do not roll over between billing periods.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use our services to violate any laws, infringe on intellectual property rights, submit malicious content designed to attack our systems, attempt to reverse-engineer our detection models, resell or redistribute API access without authorization, or submit content depicting the exploitation of minors.
6. Image Submissions
You retain all rights to images you submit for analysis. By submitting images, you grant us a limited license to process them for the purpose of providing detection results. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not store images beyond the processing window.
7. Detection Accuracy
While we strive for the highest accuracy, AI detection is probabilistic in nature. Our results represent confidence scores, not absolute determinations. You should not rely solely on our API results for decisions with significant legal, financial, or personal consequences without additional verification.
8. Payment Terms
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Failure to pay may result in service suspension.
9. Intellectual Property
The AI Image Detector API service, including its detection models, algorithms, documentation, and website content, is our proprietary property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Image Detector API shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AI Image Detector API from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Service Availability
We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors beyond our control.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the API ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
15. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice on our website. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
